Queen's Toronto alumni and friends are invited to an exclusive screening at Smith School of Business (Toronto) of , a documentary film that premiered at the Reel World Film Festival in Toronto last October. Words Left Unspoken follows the journey of Queen's alum Joze Piranian, MIB'13. After avoiding speaking for more than two decades, Joze, who has a severe stutter, decides to confront his fears by traveling back to his home country of Lebanon to have the conversations he never dared to have with his family.

, MIB'13, is a lifelong stutterer turned international keynote speaker and stand-up comedian. Born and raised in Lebanon, Joze avoided speaking for over 25 years, hindered by the fear of being judged for his stutter. Everything changed when he decided to face his fears, transforming his biggest obstacle into his greatest strength.
Today, Joze is a passionate advocate for resilience and belonging, having delivered five TEDx talks and performing stand-up comedy across three continents in four languages. Holding a Master's of International Business from ¹û½´ÊÓƵ, Joze has spoken at organizations including the FBI, the United Nations, the Department of Justice, Google, Meta, Netflix, TikTok, and Tesla. His journey has been featured in Forbes, Goalcast, CBC, CP24 Breakfast, Global News, and more, inspiring audiences worldwide to embrace their uniqueness and overcome life's challenges.
