Le  organise une série de webinaires scientifiques sur la sauvegarde aux dates et heures indiquées dans le tableau ci-dessous.

Les webinaires ont pour objectif d’aider les participants :

• d’obtenir des conseils et des outils pour renforcer la posture de sécurité;
• de comprendre les meilleures pratiques afin d’identifier et atténuer les menaces qui pèsent sur la sécurité de la recherche;
• d’établir et maintenir des partenariats de recherche sécuritaires;
• de préserver la réputation institutionnelle d'un organisme de recherche;
• de protéger les projets de recherche de grande valeur, les données ou les biens potentiellement brevetables.

 
Les webinaires sont destinés, entre autres, aux chercheurs, au personnel de la recherche, y compris les techniciens, aux postdoctorants et étudiants, aux professionnels de la sécurité de la recherche, aux administrateurs de la recherche, au personnel des technologies de l'information et de la gestion de l'information, au personnel de la sécurité, aux responsables de la biosécurité et de la sécurité radiologique, au personnel des ressources humaines, au personnel de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, ainsi qu’à celui de la haute direction.

The is hosting a series of safeguarding science webinars at the dates and times identified in the table below. 

The webinars aim to assist participants:

• access guidance and tools to strengthen security posture;
• understand best practices to identify and mitigate research security threats;
• pursue and maintain safe research partnerships;
• maintain institutional reputation of a safe research organization; and
• protect valuable research, data or potentially patentable property.

The webinars are intended for, but not limited to, researchers, research staff including technicians, postdoctoral fellow and students, research security professionals, research administrators, information technology and information management staff, security personnel, biosafety and radiological safety officers, human resources personnel, supply chain personnel and senior management.

Incorporating the SDGs in Research and Research Funding Proposals Across Disciplines

At the heart of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. Queen’s research is driving progress on many of the SDGs, with Queen’s recently ranked 3rd in the world and 1st in Canada and North America in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, which assess how universities are advancing the UN SDGs within and beyond their local communities. This panel will bring together four researchers from different disciplines who are leading the way in addressing SDGs.

Sound research data management practices are being required by funding agencies across the globe. In Canada, the  (2021) aims to support Canadian research excellence by promoting best practices in research data management and stewardship. Three years into the launch of the policy, this session will outline initial policy implementation details, including requirement timelines and ongoing feedback efforts from the Canadian research and RDM community. Additionally, we will feature the results of the Queen’s RDM survey (2022) that investigated the level of knowledge of the policy and the level of preparedness to meet the forthcoming requirements. We will also outline initial steps to respond to the survey results through various initiatives, such as the Queen’s Data Champions (2022-2023) information series and the development of new resources. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask the presenters questions and engage in discussions about current RDM context and the benefits of implementing RDM wise practices.
